Frequently Asked Questions

What should my entry include?

You are to provide the following: 3 x A2 landscape laminated sheets that best convey your concept.

They should include the following:

A short description of no more than 100 words is to be included on one of the above sheets, to best explain your design solution.

Please include a CD with both high and low resolution JPG files for each submission.

Entrants must clearly mark their submissions with the following details on the reverse side:

  • Student’s first name and surname
  • Name of the institution
  • Lecturer’s name
  • Contact telephone number of the institution
  • Contact telephone number of the lecturer

Is there a fee to submit an entry?


When is the submission deadline?

Who is the competition open to?

The competition is open to all interior design, architecture, interior architecture and industrial design students studying at a technology institution, university, or other academic educational institution involved in a programme of learning for design and architecture.

How will I know if I am a finalist?

Finalists will be notified in August 2018 by a designated party of PG Bison. Please do not call PG Bison to find out about the status of your submission.

Will my submission be returned to me?

The student’s submission will not be returned to them and will become the property of the PG Bison 1.618 Competition and Awards.

The PG Bison 1.618 Competition and Awards organisers reserve the right to utilise the entire submission and/or any element thereof.
